Once Upon a Time ... Spring Benefit

From the site: Celebrate MOCHA with artists and authors from our annual children’s book illustrators exhibit. Enjoy spectacular wines, delicious light fare and a silent auction of original art.

The evening will feature live music by the Zimbabwean Marimba Ensemble, comprised of youth musicians from the Oakland Public Conservatory of Music led by master artist Ronnie Daliyo, and a sonic excursion courtesy of local artist and MOCHA dad, Heco with his 78s.

Una Bella Sera (A Beautiful Evening)

Teacake BAKES (Baking A Kind, Equal Society)

Teacake BAKES is a program that one of our Teacake team members dreamed up. Because individuals have different causes and beliefs they support, we encourage our team to support their own causes. With Teacake BAKES, our team members take turns baking up special, original treats that are sold at our retail store. ALL proceeds from the sales of those items are donated to the charity/cause of their choice.

This month's Teacake BAKES benefits the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. The unique, off-menu treats for sale are Raspberry Truffles -- raspberry-infused semisweet chocolate ganache enrobed in milk chocolate with pink lemon white chocolate drizzle. Get them every Thursday this month only in the Emeryville retail store!

Corte Madera and Lafayette Opening Celebrations

Both of our Corte Madera and Lafayette stores are opening soon! This is great information to have because both locations will have opening celebrations featuring giveaways of our yummy baked goods, gift cards, and other prizes including KitchenAid mixers!
